Hi, I’m Marcus Trawick, a wedding photographer born and raised in Santa Cruz, California. Growing up surfing the waves, exploring the coast, and being immersed in nature shaped how I see beauty and connection. Those roots taught me to notice fleeting moments, the kind you can’t recreate but want to hold onto forever and that’s exactly what I capture for my couples.
Photography isn’t just a job for me, it’s a way of life. I’ve always been a people person. I thrive on connection, celebrating love, and making people feel comfortable in front of my lens. My style blends cinematic, film-inspired imagery with a mix of editorial guidance and documentary honesty. I shoot both digital and film, giving your story the best of both worlds: the timeless, nostalgic tones of film and the crisp, versatile artistry of digital. The two together create a body of work that feels natural, romantic, and enduring.
Family is at the center of everything I do. They’re the heart of my life and the reason I strive to grow, create, and show up fully in my work.
